Dr. Bojan Stipesevic
Bojan Stipesevic was born on 10. October 1969. in Osijek, Croatia, married, single child. He got his BSc degree of agronomy-crop production at the Faculty of Agriculture in Osijek in 1993, where he is working at Dept. of Plant production, Div. of crop production since 1994, being full professor since 2013. Postgraduate MSc degree from agroecology-soil science he earned in Zagreb, Croatia, in 1997. Doctoral thesis (PhD) he defended at the Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2003. As an author/co-author he published more than 150 scientific and 50 professional articles. He was principal investigator or researcher in several national and international research projects, among the most important are "Cover crops in organic farming", "Cover crops for food and bio-energy ", "Different Nygar and Camelina cropping systems for food and bioenergy " and "Conservation soil tillage as a measure of climate change mitigation". He is an active member of CAS - Croatian Agronomy Society, CROSTRO - Croatian Soil Tillage Research Organization, ISTRO - International Soil Tillage Research Organization, IUSS - International Union of Soil Sciences, ECSS - European Confederation of Soil Science Societies, CSSS - Croatian Society of Soil Science, and IFOAM - International Federation of Organic Associations Movement.
